So excited that I haven't killed it! My coworkers hubby brought it into the office 2 years ago, she brought it to my desk because I'm in the front of the office. It hadn't bloomed since - but I diligently watered and cared for it, and now...voila! Yay!
I have an orchid on my desk at work too and mine makes me really happy as well! It was a gift from a sweet co-worker thanking me for being a nice manager. So for that, it definitely helps make my work days happier! :)
I think everybody needs a little touch like that at their desk to help keep them happy even on those challenging work days we all have sometimes!
A native Michigander now firmly planted in Southern California, Jules enjoys dabbling in arts and nature, ultimately desiring to reacquaint herself with her inner child. An Office Administrator by day, and a frantic and frazzled wife and mother by day, evening and everything in between (Loving every minute of it!). Jules varied interests are shared (not equally) in reading, gardening, TV time with family, natural health thru diet and natural products, and a desire to be creative in all that she does. She's off on a journey to connect with her “mini me”(her inner child).
