God Jul

Merry, merry Christmas or God Jul to you! The Christmas Season brings back warm memories of the holidays spent with my grandparents who were from Sweden. There was the fantastic food (Swedish meatballs, Swedish sausage) , decorations and the fun little jig we would do to my grandfathers accordion. Those days are long gone, but it's fun to create our own traditions with our children.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Beginning Fresh

"Watch yourself. Every minute we change. It is a great opportunity. At any point, we can step out of our frozen selves and our ideas and begin fresh." ~ Natalie Goldberg

Anniversary of my birth

Today I celebrate the anniversary of my birth, once I passed 36 I decided I wasn't going to have birthdays anymore...but anniversaries. Specifically anniversaries of my 29th birthday. So today is my 13th anniversary - yes, sounds much better that way, don't you agree?

To celebrate, my hubby is bar-b-quing for the family...yum!
