"Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together." ~ Vincent van Gogh
I saw this quote on twitter this morning, and it really struck a cord. I tend to be impulsive and expect great things from it! LOL!
I'm struggling today, getting back into the grind of the work. I had a lovely extended weekend sharing it with family and friends. I hope you all did as well.

Turkey-To-Do
Today I’m working on my “Turkey-To-Do” list, and to be honest, I’m becoming quite anxious! I’m hosting our Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow, and I’m having a hard time figuring out how to prep ahead when I don’t have any room in my refrigerator because Mr. Turkey is currently residing there…does anyone else have this dilemma?
I am excited to once again spend the day with my sister and brother-in-law and their kids, as well as my family!
Wishing all of you a very special Thanksgiving, and if you’re not in the USA – enjoy tomorrow anyways!

Jury Duty
So sorry my friends, I have been away for quite a while. I've been around, I just didn't really have anything to say...do you have those moments as well?
Thankfully I had a delightful weekend which I will post about a little later, and a quite exhaustive past day and a half on Jury Duty. Bleh! Don't get me wrong, I am quite willing to do my civic duty to serve on a Jury and had been a Juror just a year ago. But the process of choosing a jury is just.plain.dull.
So I'm back, and hopefully will be able to tell you all about my weekend - it was pure bliss!
